rickthenewb
Hi all, as my post says I am getting a slight haze at 85 proof on my stripping runs that gets gradually worse. I am working with a 100%corn mash in a 10p gallon electric bain marie. I thought maybe it was too much heat so I'm running 3 elements instead of 4 but that didnt do it. Any ideas? Sudzie
Tails showing up. What’s total collected (aggregate) proof / taste?
Huffy2k
You said stripping run right? The goal of a stripping run is to strip all of the recoverable alcohol from your beer, tails included. The haze will not be present after your spirit run (assuming you make proper tails cuts).
Sudzie
Oops, I missed the striping run part. Collect it all and then do your Spirit run.

ViolentBlue
Rick, this is completely normal and I would even say desirable with corn mash
