Foreshot
I'm putting my list of distilling botanical and herb suppliers here. Find them was a pain, I have no idea why. Most spice places are more culinary than distilling I guess. One warning - watch the shipping costs. Some are notorious for ridiculous shipping costs for normal shipping. If you have found any please post up and make everyone's life easier. If an admin sees this can you make it a sticky so it's easier to find. https://herbco.com/ - AKA Monterey Bay Spice Co.https://lhasakarnak.com/https://www.esutras.com/https://www.myspicesage.com/https://www.spicejungle.comhttps://www.mountainroseherbs.comhttps://www.starwest-botanicals.comhttps://www.pennherb.com/https://www.dandelionbotanical.comhttps://foodsofnations.com/product-category/spiceseaoning/ I also use Amazon for things that I need quick or very small amounts. Xander
Just a thought but an indicator about which countries they'll ship from and to would be helpful. I'm looking at doing my first batch of gin in the near future and am trying to find distributors which don't cost a fortune to ship to Canada. For juniper berries, Amazon's best seems to be $31/lb and the last other one I saw (Esutras.com) was something like $17 but $55 on shipping. Does not ship outside US: frontiercoop, lhasakarnak, myspicesage, dandelionbotanical, sfherb Do ship to Canada but adds about $33(US) on average for the cheapest shipping: Spicejungle, mountainroseherbs, starwest-botanicals (pennherb was the cheapest overall, only one cheaper than Amazon) (foodsofnations doesn't seem to know what to do with a Canadian address to estimate shipping) *All searches were based on 1lb Juniper berry quantities. Foreshot
As a FYI - herbal companies are absolutely outrageous when it comes to shipping, it doesn't matter where.
