3-Oaks Distillery
I’m looking for an agitator for a 250 gallon pot still. I found a ss pneumatic one for a 50 gallon drum. Am wondering if that is enough agitation. Any advise would be appreciated.
Southernhighlander
Do you have a link to the specs for the agitator? Will you be doing any on the grain mashes or other mashes that are thick and viscus?

McClintockDistilling
What is the heating source for the still? We use an undersized agitator that works fine (including grain-in mashes) for a steam jacket still, but you would definitely need more agitation for direct or jacketed heating elements.
