Brandi B
Hi, we are a small bourbon start-up distilling in North Carolina, seeking used Brandy barrels (just 1-2) or staves to introduce to our our barrels. Have struck out at most of the big Brandy distillers. Anyone have a lead or suggestion?
whiskeytango
Not sure its legal TTB wise to just add staves to a barrel.
Silk City Distillers
Why not just buy ex-brandy/cognac barrels from someone like Northeast Barrel, Rocky Mountain Barrel, Keystone or others and just cut them down to what you need?
Brandi B
Man, you don’t know what you don’t know. Thank you SO much Silk City Distillers for this info. Calling all three.
Silk City Distillers
Picked up some awesome cognac barrels from Rocky Mountain recently. Got an apple brandy from Keystone that we finished bourbon in that was really nice as well.
