TonyRC
Hi, Whilst putting together our concept plan, we came across the ADI. Some of us are former Micro-Brewers from a long time ago and are putting together plans for a new venture in Scotland. We have loads of ideas as the team is an interesting 'blend' of the traditional and the new with elements as far removed as Australia. But our primary focus is on Scotland, very small scale with Quality and tradition at the core. If anyone is interested, drop me an email or respond here. Hopefully, we'll be across to Portland in the Spring. Best regards to all. What a fantastic community. Tony
Cedar Ridge
Tony, I have a distillery in Iowa, the heart of grain country here in the U.S. I am coming to Scotland for the first time next month to learn more about making Scotch. We have been making a single malt for a couple of years now, but need to ramp it up. Where are you located in Scotland? Would it be possible to set up a time to meet while I am over there? Need your email address so we can firm up plans. Jeff Whilst putting together our concept plan, we came across the ADI. Absinthe Pete
Welcome, sounds like an interesting venture. What kind of Scotch do you want to make, i.e. Peaty? Location? Islay?
TonyRC
Hi Jeff, When are you planning to be across ? Best email to get me on at the minute is Tony.Reemanclark@googlemail.com I'll be travelling around a fair bit and am on holiday for 7-14 November. But it would be great to meet up somewhere ! Cheers Tony
TonyRC
Very good questions ! Location is probably going to be central Scotland but maybe above the Highland line. Lots of interesting debate about the style at present, so no definitive answer. Early days yet. Cheers Tony
