Foreshot
We're going to be opening a production location soon (we hope) a little further out from the city we're in. We've noticed that folks there are more into moonshine type products than our main line. Based on that we've been talking about having a smaller second brand based on "moonshine" to sell there. We don't want to label it as our main brand as we don't want to associate it with moonshine. If we do start calling it something other than our main brand what all is involved? Would we have to report it separately? Would have to have any physical separation of the space? Any advice on this? Thanks.
adamOVD
ADI has been doing webinars, and there is one on branding this Wednesday. They are taking questions now. I tuned into one on using specialty malts a few weeks ago, and it was fantastic.
blackheart2
I am facing a similar situation. I'd be curious to hear what the peanut gallery has to say.
jeffw
Not sure what the complication would be exactly. Just setup another DBA and proceed just like your main brand. I believe the TTB just has you register a Trade Name.
