blackcurrant, macerate of distill for best carry over of flavour.

I have had good success putting them into the still for some gins. You can macerate afterwards, however this would result in a non-clear finished product.

The other option would be to make a smaller distillation of the blackcurrants to add to the finished gin or vodka, this way would enable you to better control the amount of blackcurrant flavor in the finished product.
