needmorstuff
When using a still with internal heaters, is the addition of an agitator when distilling wash enough to prevent scorching? or is a jacketed heating approach in addition to agitation necessary. SlickFloss
At what scale? Realistically anything you're trying to make money on elements are going to scorch (efficiencies). If you are able to run grain on with an element you are going to be at a size and speed that is incredibly wasteful from an efficiency standpoint for a commercial producer. Jackets and agitators in tandem is the answer for commercial batch pot still.
