Experienced Distiller looking for opportunity!

Howdy, I’m a distiller with around eight years of experience in the distillation world (five of that production/head of production) and I’m located in upper Iowa. I’ve worked with several start-up distilleries in making whiskey, bourbon, vodka, and gin, and have quite a bit of experience with marketing and out reach!  

I would describe myself as a jack of all trades, and have experience with all facets of production, some of which include, milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling, making excellent cuts, blending, proofing, bottling, data entry, equipment repair, and marketing/sales! I also have experience with organic distilling, hand sales, photography/videography, and social media marketing. 

I’m looking to be part of a team where I will be valued and appreciated, and where my experience and opinions matter. In an ideal world, I would be able to distill, interact with customers from time to time, help create cocktails to showcase our spirits, and help with bolstering the brand through local promotions and events. I believe I would be a great fit for a start up with a small team of folks with great communication and passion towards what they’re doing… not just a money grab or trendy joint that sources their booze from elsewhere.
 

Currently, I am located in upper Iowa, but may consider relocation if it’s a good fit.
