Boot Hill Distillery is a farmer-owned distillery in Dodge City Kansas that produces Bourbon, Wheat Whiskey, Vodka, Gin, Canned Cocktails, as well as many other experimental and new brands. We pride ourselves in the fact that we only distill spirits from the grain we grow and in this sense are able to provide an extra level of quality products.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Head Distiller at Boot Hill Distillery in Dodge City, KS. The Head Distiller will oversee day-to-day distillation operations including mashing and fermenting, conduct sensory evaluations and manage quality control processes to create exceptional spirits.

 

Qualifications

• Distillation skills or a strong interest to learn
• Experience in Sensory Evaluation and Quality Control
• Knowledge of fermentation processes and spirit production
• Attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Certifications in distillation or related field are a plus
• Passion for craft spirits
