JohninWV
We currently use an Enolmaster with an inline filter. I'd like to buy an additional gravity filler, but I'm not sure how to easily filter in-line. For you guys using a gravity filler, how do you filter? I'm just looking for removing the odd piece of lint or a speck of dust. We're very careful in our bottling but I almost always find a little something in our in-line bottle filter. I'm surely glad I have it there and don't want to take it out.
Charles@AEppelTreow
1 micron pleated filter. Bottling tank is under a few pounds of pressure to drive the flow.
Rich Morgan
Most gravity filters have a header tank/resovoir, you need to pump to it via the filter. Ours has a small float switch that controls a pressure pump feeding the header tank. To be honest, I think the Enolmaster 4 is unbeatable. Particularly with higher viscosity liqueurs. JohninWV
Thanks Rich. We like our Enolmaster....I guess I was just thinking the grass was greener on the gravity side.
