rumfarmer
Anyone know where all the tequila bottles come from. I am looking for a short bottle with a long neck similar to the attachment but without color. I have been completely unable to find a single bottle manufacturer that makes this sort of bottle as part of their stock offerings. Any suggestions? Thanks. Scott @ Twenty2Vodka
at the risk of stating the obvious, perhaps your problem comes from limiting yourself to the stock selection? Custom bottles are widespread in this industry, why are you assuming that the exact shape and size you are looking for isn't a proprietary design? -Scott
Wm. R. Hill & Co.
Anyone know where all the tequila bottles come from. I am looking for a short bottle with a long neck similar to the attachment but without color. I have been completely unable to find a single bottle manufacturer that makes this sort of bottle as part of their stock offerings. Any suggestions? Thanks. Since almost all of the tequila today is produced in Mexico - it is very diificult to find any tequila bottles made here in the US that aren't a proprietary mould. The shape and design of the bottle you are looking for could quite possibly be from China or some other South American glass manufacturer. We do have a 750ml & 50 ml Tequila bottle available from Mexico, but have not brought in any stock to date. They are square and have an agava plant design embossing on one side of the bottle. If interested let me know and I can take a picture and send to you by email. Cheers
rumfarmer
I am looking for a "similar" bottle to the one shown. I have quotes for doing proprietary designs, but I am extremely wary of Chinese glass due to the experiences of many I have talked to in these forums. To your point, Scott: As a lifelong entrepreneur, I assume nothing. But I appreciate your effort to give me advice. I welcome all input.

rumfarmer
Just FYI, this bottle will house rum, not tequila. The agave wouldn't work One with sugar cane would be a different story.

Scott @ Twenty2Vodka
$3k for the mold and about $1.25 per bottle with 10k MOQ. What does MOQ stand for? and if it stands for "Multiple Order Quantiity", what does that mean? Thanks. -Scott
Jedd Haas
Hello Robert, what country are your bottles manufactured in? What is the lead time on producing the 10,000 minimum pieces? What is the shipping time, and does the glass have to clear customs? Note: I posted this same question in the other thread where Robert posted his bottle pitch. He didn't answer then. Robert, I hope you can answer these questions this time around. Scott: Minimum Order Quantity.
