GeekSpirits Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 I have seen several different alcohols that are very dark, almost black. Doing a search seems like they are using black catechu. If you would for instance put a large amount of heavy toasted oak chips To a small amount of alcohol. It will turn it black. Or I should say so dark brown that it looks black.
