Max Action Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 I'm considering using a natural fruit extract as a flavor in one of our products. I'd be curious if anyone here has had luck with their Formula approval using extracts as a normal ingredient, or if the TTB considers it a compounded flavor that requires a "Formula and Process for Nonbeverage Product." Assuming it does require TTB approval as a flavoring, anyone have experience with how long this process takes and how involved it is?
