Floor Drains

What has anyone used for trench floor drains, that they are happy, or unhappy with? Plastic, fiberglass, galvanized, stainless ?

We made ours. Went to the local scrapyard, found grate about the right width, busted out the mig welder, went crazy. Saved an assload, i am sure. Works great (grate?).
