Register your still

To my understanding you have to register your still during your DSP application correct? If you have made the still yourself and thus have no barcode or seriel number, how do you register it?

In Australia I used an engraving tool "PB 001"

you can assign the still a serial number of your choosing and use that. Same with your other tanks. They just want a list of your equipment so they can calculate the max tax liability you might owe and ensure your bond covers it. The SN is really only necessary for if/when they come in and inspect.

Thank you to all. Apparently ADI forum isn't notifying me of responses...

Anyway, I can second Scott - TTB told me the exact same thing. They did note that a manufacturer has to notify the state before a still is removed from the mfc facility. They neglected to say who I would be notifying, but I assume TTB can direct me!
