Austontatious Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 How big of an issue do you think convictions for distribution of controlled substances over 10 years ago will be, with regards to licensing of a commercial distillery now? I don't think the specifics are relevant, but I completed all treatment, etc, and have had a total of one speeding ticket since. Think I can still make mybdream happen?
Jedd Haas Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I'd suggest contacting the TTB, via an attorney, for the answer to that question. Your state alcohol authority (and municipal authorities, if applicable) may be of greater concern. I'd suggest having an attorney contact them as well.
Rickdiculous Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I second Jedd's thoughts. Your's is a legal question and not an opinion question. Good luck, hopefully your clean 10 years will count for something and you'll be on your way. Rick
Artisan Still Design Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I know in Canada if you have anything on our record o do with controled substances or DUI, you can never work at a liquor store or a distillery.
