georgiabooze
How many are using a mash meaning fermented grains, not a wash, in a direct fired pot still, or for that matter a steam heated still. Why have I read that it burns?

Why have I read that it burns? I believe the key is to control the temperature, alchol evaporates at a lower temperature then water, or mash, we haven't had an issue with this at all
