vodka2014
Hi all.I am currently in the process of putting together a business plan to open and run a small batch Micro Distillery (vodka) in the United Kingdom(around 100 70cl bottle per run - 40%). I have already priced and researched all areas I need to accomplish this but I still have some questions that I hope someone out there can help with.My problems is the still! I have a 10 plate reflux design I am happy with and, as previously mentioned, have already priced for its construction from a local fabricator. My question is certification related. Once (eventually/hopefully) my plant process has been approved by HMRC does this piece of equipment need to be signed off as safe to use by a governing body within the UK? Also, does anyone know the laws relating to the storage and removal of the heads of the run within the UK.Any help will be greatly appreciated.
