LiMbTwIsTeR
With all the new laws I'm getting a mixture of responses (even from the SLA) Currently I own both a pub and a restaurant. Both places have a full liquor/beer/wine licenses. A brewpub can manufacture beer and sell at a conjoined restaurant. A distillery can have a tasting/sales room. There are no laws preventing someone from owning both a brewery and a distillery as long as both are in separate buildings. My question: Is it legal to own and operate a distillery in NYS on a separate licensed premise AND also own and operate a bar and restaurant with separate liquor licenses? Thx
