Gabriel Szaszko
Greetings, all. I've been exploring and writing about spirits and cocktails, with an emphasis on vintage and classic recipes, for the past three years or so. I blog at cocktailnerd.com, write a monthly spirits article for Oklahoma Magazine and do other freelance writing when I can and when they'll have me. Being in the cocktailian backwater of Oklahoma is part of what led me to co-found the Cocktail and Spirits Online Writers Group, an organization committed to promoting the work of its members, improving its members' writing and publishing skills, and evangelizing quality spirits and drinks to a broader online audience. I look forward to attending and covering ADI and learning more about what distilling techniques are being employed in artisanal manufacturing, and why. And, of course, I look forward to sampling the products and growing ever more jealous of the luxury of living near such wonderful and beautiful creations as these producers have brought to bear. Cheers, and I hope to meet as many of you as possible. -Gabriel
