stcavanaugh
I have read through the letter of the law and I'm not sure about the answer to this: Can a class D distillery sell directly to a bar or restaurant? In other words, can a sales representative walk into a bar with a case of liquor and sell to the owner? Or must the bar owner travel to the distillery to purchase? Thank you
JohnMcD
Yes you can do direct sales to bars and liquor stores.
Hewnspirits
How about from a neighboring state? I understand that each state has it's own laws on this but I believe ours (Pa) is OK with it....just wondering if NY is.
NEPA-still-chillin
Could you refresh my memory...is a class D a Farm Distillery license?? And Hewn do you mean you can go into NY state and sell directly to a restaurant or liquor store? Can you do that in PA as well?? I find that way cool since I'm a PA native
Roger
Class d is considered farm distillery, which carries rights to self distribute. I doubt that an out of state DSP can come Into NY and self distribute
