brandon8198
In regards to California based Distilleries, can someone explain to me how some distilleries get around selling bottles at the distillery (ie - St. George/Hangar One). Im guessing that someone else owns a retail ABC license on their premisis and then they buy it from the distributor and sell it back to the consumer, but not sure. My understanding is that you can't own conflicting ABC licenses in California. Thanks, Brandon
Absinthe Pete
Yes. That's why it separated by a wall at St. George. It's a separate OFF Sale Liquor Store run by someone else. To my understanding they have to sell the product to that company ship it to their warehouse and then ship it back for sale at St. George.
brandon8198
Thanks. Just goes to show how rediculous the law is that prohibits California distilleries to sell bottles onsite.

mendodistilling
You can have a trust manager and they can sign for the other licenses.
