Curtis
Does anybody happen to know the viscosity of bourbon mash? Trying to get a heat exchanger sized. Anybody have any knowledge on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
Corson Distilling
Our test indicated roughly 300 cP for corn. We used a simple viscosity test using a tube and ball. We determined the viscosity by measuring how quickly the ball dropped down the tube through the mash.
bluestar
We are using heat exchanger with our corn mash, about 300# corn in 150gal mash. Haven't measure viscosity, but it works in a Thermaline heat exchanger with a 1.5" inner tube pumped by a centrifugal pump at 30gal/min or more.
