Chris Hanks
Greetings Everyone!!! I'm currently doing business planning and analysis in hopes of launching a new craft distillery just north of Seattle sometime in the near future. I feel a bit overwhelmed with the details. There's much to learn and I'll be grateful for all your wisdom and experience posted in these forums. Chris Hanks
RobKnode
Hi Chris, I don't know much about the distilling side specifics, but I can help you out with your Commercial Insurance and TTB bonding. With a short chat on the phone, I can give you an idea of insurance & bond costs. I currently work with several Small Craft Distilleries here in Washington and up and down the coast so I do have a bit more experience doing this in comparison to some of the other agents. Let me know if I can help out. Rob Knode, Balcos Insurance, 800-292-3456 PH, rknode@balcosinsurance.com
Skip Rock
Chris, Welcome! I'm just north of you in Snohomish. I'm curious if you're setting up shop in the county or within city limits? Ryan

Good luck with all the preparations, and if you have any questions, please feel free to call. If any on-going consultation is ever required, there are several resources available to you.
