DianeF Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 ALERT! Impending U.S. Government Shutdown could affect access to TTB website Due to the possible impending government shutdown you may have read about in the news, it is possible that access to TTB’s website could be severely restricted or cut off for DSPs while the shutdown is in effect. Therefore, if you need copies of your permits, registrations, formulas, COLAs or other documents that reside on the TTB system, it is advised that distilleries log on and download those items today! SilverSwede Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 when posting processing, storage and production reports, if shut down still in effect do we just print to the form and manually fill in/send in?
Silk City Distillers Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 I thought I remember the websites staying up during the last shutdown, you could submit but if you were submitting something that required a response, you were waiting. Suspect the timing for label and recipe approval is going to drag out longer now.
bluefish_dist Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 The way I read it, tax collection is mission critical and will continue. To me that means they will keep the site running for your monthly submissions. Labels, cola, new permits won't be happening anytime soon.
