The successful applicant will join an exciting and positive team, with a great working environment. The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-motivated, mature and a well-rounded sales professional with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You will work with a diverse and committed team and have excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong focus on sales and marketing in the craft beverage industry. This position requires the ability to establish and foster client relationships, prioritize workloads, provide timely responses and close sales. Competitive compensation package comprised of a base salary and commissions. Responsibilities: Establish, foster and build client relationships Field incoming requests for sales as well as proactively search out new sales opportunities. Provide customer advice, information and quotations Selling direct to retail resellers (liquor stores, hotels, restaurants, bars) Collaborate on marketing collateral, branding, advertising strategies, tradeshow Ability to manage current and future part- to full-time sales associates Must be able to use car for sales travel (compensation available) Geographic focus will be Colorado Some weekend work will be required Minimum of once a quarter visits to Santa Fe offices required Qualifications: Previous successful sales experience required Must be comfortable entering customer data on a daily basis Prior experience with CRM (customer relationship management) software a plus Familiarity with spreadsheets, Microsoft office a plus Experience in a sales sector related to brewing, distilling, craft beverage, food and related industry preferred. Distilling knowledge very beneficial. Must be comfortable in conducting demonstrations and pourings Must be able to initiate new customer relationships & work well with existing customers Must be at least 21 years of age Must submit to and pass NM RLD background/fingerprint check Must have a clean driving record Key Capabilities and Competencies: Will work closely and need to build strong working relationships with the production staff and owner as they’ll be able to provide you with market advice and guidance Need to be able to discuss issues as they arise in a professional, constructive manner based on solutions Top notch face to face, telephone, email communications and relationship building Excellent planning, organizing, critical thinking and problem solving.
