Off-Centered Summer Spirits Brand Ambassador What This Entails: Dogfish Head Distilling Co. is seeking a passionate craft spirits loving Off-centered Spirits Brand Ambassador to sell our delicious scratch-made spirits in this newly created summertime role! You’ll be infusing a whole lot of Dogfish love in the Delmarva market while educating consumers on our delicious spirits portfolio of goodness. With general guidance from our Regional Spirits Sales Manager, you’ll be supporting summertime activation plans, nurturing great relationships with our beloved accounts, engaging with fans at distillery events, festivals, off premise tastings events and such and brilliantly executing the Kegged Cocktail Program. You’ll be assisting in securing placements, negotiating awesome shelf positions and positioning displays as you continue to build the Dogfish Head Distilling Co. brand loyalty and commitment. You’ll be working closely with our distributor and retail partners infusing your in-depth Dogfish knowledge by providing education and top notch guest experiences. You’ll be hosting weekly events, including tastings, festivals and cool promotions throughout the Delmarva region. You will be required to travel up to 100% of the time within your market using good time management to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. What You Need To Land This Gig: The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biz or other relevant discipline. You must have a minimum of 1 year sales/marketing experience. In this role, you’ll need to be available May 1st – September 15th2017. For the right candidate, we are able to flex the end date if earlier departure is needed, preference given to candidates who can work the entire duration. Note: this is a seasonal position; no expectation of extension is guaranteed or projected. This position requires the ability to work late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as it is necessary to support our brand initiatives. You must be able to maintain your sobriety and professionalism while working in environments where the spirits may be flowing, and a clean driving record is essential. You’ll need to build strong working relationships with your RSM & General Manager as they’ll be your leaders in the market for advice and guidance. You must enjoy working independently, be super engaging and enjoy promoting the Dogfish Head Distilling Co. brand as we’re seeking a real go-getter here!
