With all due respect... keeping in mind the number of folks that have been burned by "new cooperages looking for customers" I would hope you'd offer a COD option.
Hello, Please contact Greg Pierce at 803-465-3865 or gpierce@blackwaterbarrels.com and he will discuss this with you.
Thanks Tiffanie

Hello, We are a cooperage in South Carolina producing 30, 53, and 60 gallon barrels using select American White Oak. We char or toast the barrel to your specs. We also offer laser logo stenciling, as well as galvanized or stainless bands. Our coopers are being trained by a fourth generation cooper using state of the art equipment. Prices start at $250 per barrel and our proximity to the southeast saves you on your freight costs. Please contact me for more information. gpierce@blackwaterbarrels.com

Hi - Kelly here from Black Water Barrels. We are a brand new cooperage located on the East coast in South Carolina. I'm here to learn from you all, and to contribute when I can.
Usually when I say I am from a new barrel company people want to know how they can order (barrels aren't so easy for craft brewers/distillers to come by!) Here is the contact information:
Greg Pierce, President 803-465-3865
Melissa Stokes, Sales 803-312-1343Thanks, and I am looking forward to working with all of you.

Anthony,
As the cooperage who has learned the importance of standing behind the integrity of every barrel, one of the things we have done is to provide some valuable resources regarding how to properly hydrate a barrel before use, and to make sure that barrels are never left unfilled for more than a month to prevent the kind of leaks we all want to avoid.
If you haven't yet, please take a look at a few of the videos we recently posted in the new blackwaterbarrels.com/academy site which may help.
We also have info about the extra testing that every barrel we make now goes through to ensure the integrity of every barrel. Call me directly if you have any issues, questions or want the real story behind some of the other comments in this thread.
