R Stout
Greetings. My name is Rachael. In October 2019 I applied for both my Federal and State manufacturer's licenses. The state completed their inspection and is ready to issue licensing pending the approval of Federal permits. I waited until Mid February before I decided to contact the TTB agent, because I noticed that the assigned agent was now a different person. Upon emailing the new agent I found out that the old agent had retired and this new agent had inherited the retired agents caseload (or at least that is how I understood it). She informed me it would be a couple weeks before she could get to my permit. It has now been 7.5 months and my permit application has not been opened. I have read on many posts that folks have had success at obtaining licensing quickly with the help of a consultant. Would it help if I hired a consultant now or am I just destined to sit in limbo? 38°
I called them. They then approved me in less than a week. This was less than a month ago. They seem to be prioritizing DSP applications, especially if you plan on doing hand sanitizer.
