Neck Banding Machine Fits Tamper-Evident Shrinkbands and Printed Sleeve Labels Over Long Neck Bottles

Deitz NB1 Sets Shrinkbands Over Long Necks, Keeps Corks In Place

Wall, NJ: The Pharmafill(TM) NB1 neck banding machine from packaging machinery manufacturer Deitz Co., Wall, NJ (www.Deitzco.com), is offered in an optional, extra tall configuration to apply tamper-evident bands and printed sleeve labels onto wine bottles, liquor bottles, and other tall bottles or bottles with long necks. Set on an extra tall, adjustable-height lift stand, the NB1 neck bander can raise the banding mechanism up to 17 inches high to fit easily over standard champagne magnum bottles, vodka bottles, wine bottles, and other tall containers without risk of tipping over. The new configuration adds up to eight inches in height versus the standard model neck bander, which only accommodates bottles up to nine inches tall.

Devised for distilleries, wineries, breweries, and other bottling companies, the neck banding machine automatically applies shrink bands and printed sleeve labels onto glass and plastic bottles with necks from 14 mm – 76 mm in diameter at up to 100 bottles per minute based on bottle size and shrinkband cut length. The tamper-evident bander features stainless steel construction in bottle contact areas as standard to comply with FDA and GMP rules and sets up easily to enable small and startup businesses to automate the process without requiring significant technical expertise.

The Pharmafill NB1 is to be featured at the In-Line Packaging booth #537 at ADI Baltimore with companion heat shrink tunnel. The tamper-evident bander and heat tunnel may also be tested in the Deitz Company's Wall, New Jersey headquarters with a wide range of bottles and shrinkbands.
