Gift shop sales no Alcohol

I have searched and cant find what I am think of doing. Control state so no sales but I still want a gift shop to sell anything I can to bring in some cash.

Question

If you have a gift shop are you running the sales under your distillery "LLC" tax ID or do you have a Business ID for the gift shop sales.

I am meeting with my acct at the end of the week and would like to know what others are doing. I was thinking it would make the bottom line look better and cut down some paper work. Wife will run the shop no employees.

In Maryland you can use the same fed. and state sales tax numbers. The items you sell should somewhat relate to wine. You will need to get A Traders License from your local Clerk of the Court. The license fee is determined by the inventory totals. Ofr course in MD now we will be paying a rain tax so go figure.
