Jeff
What is the TTB requirement for how far a distillery has to be located from another non-distillery (dwelling) related building? Jeff
Andrew
Jeff: http://adiforums.com/index.php?showtopic=3...entry1786 From a couple TTB conversations, I was never given a specific distance. The guidance I got was to make it easy for an agent to clearly say they're two distinct and separate areas of a property. -A
Gwydion Stone
You can have a distillery in the same building as a dwelling, they just can't have any common entries. The first building I was looking at (in Washington) has two condos in it. As usual, the idea is to protect the revenue from potential intruders. delaware_phoenix
The TTB regs say a distillery can't be located within a dwelling. And personally, I wouldn't want to locate a distillery in a building containing dwelling(s). How would you feel if there was a fire and people lost their home and belongings, or worse? Your local zoning regs will be much more restrictive.
