Greetings, all. Wondering how folks are doing in terms of finding buyers for their once used bourbon barrels? We've had some limited success with local breweries buying them, but our capacity to use barrels seems to exceed their purchase capacity.

Great info, thank you for the replies. Makes sense that it would be happening at the point of barrel purchase as opposed to trying to brand on site and make it look good...

Not sure what exactly these are called, but looking to have a brand made to burn our distillery name on our barrels. Anyone know of a company that makes these? Any other advice regarding this? Thanks!

So we're just now getting around to exploring offering some different bottle sizes other than 750s. I have a few questions. Who is a good source for 50ml bottles? Do you prefer plastic or glass? Most importantly, how do you label them - do you provide a file to the bottle supplier and they do it, or do you label each little guy yourself? Bigger picture, for those of you offering 50s, do you feel it's worthwhile? Does it eat into your bigger bottle sales of is it a net benefit?

We're looking at moving our distillery from an in-town location to one that's out in the unincorporated county. This means that we're going from city water access to a well. We've not yet gotten specifics on the well, but wanted to know if any distilleries out there are running on well water, and how that's going for them?
