  1. Most of the sessions we attended in Denver did not include any handouts (e.g. - copies of the PowerPoint or slide presentations). In a few of the sessions, the speaker(s) indicated that these would be available on the ADI site after the conference. Does anyone know where???? Thanks!!
  2. We're here and thinking this evening at 6:00 in the bar next to the main lobby at the Sharaton might work out? I know this conflicts with the awards dinner, but we are not going and am wondering if anyone else from CA is either? If not, then this should be great. Give us your feedback. Thanks.
  3. Cinwalt & Redmitty, We (obviously) haven't gotten much response on this, so we are thinking of trying to push it back to Tuesday or Wednesday, maybe lunch or cocktails after the day's events? We're hoping we can touch bases with some other California folks Tuesday during the conference and get a few more participants. I'll update this posting, or if you want to send me your email addresses, I can contact you directly. My address is Gordon "at" DryDiggings.com Looking forward to meeting you!
  4. Who else from California is attending the ADI conference?? If you would like to get together to discuss doing business in California and what the California Artisanal Distillers Guild (www.cadsp.org) is doing to try and make things easier for us, including AB-933, please let us know. Cris (guild treasurer), Melkon (So Cal director) & I will be in Denver. Cris & I are wondering if Monday evening might work for an informal get together? This would be a good opportunity to learn more about what the guild is doing and to share what some of the hurdles are that our distilleries have had to deal with, and simply to get to know each other better. Cheers!
  5. As per Leah Hutchinson, Conference & Advertising Director: Stranhans, Dancing Pines, Spring 44, Spirit Hounds & Roundhouse. Also Avery Brewing OR New Belgium Brewing. Obviously not all of them.
  6. Thanks Michael, Got your email and sent you a reply. Whatever help you can give us is greatly appreciated! Cheers!
  7. TexasGrand, Thanks for your comments. Question: wouldn't you multiply by 3 here instead of dividing by 3?? I have no idea what I am talking about, but am trying to figure things out. It would be great to talk to you about putting some specs together. can you contact me at gordon@drydiggings.com?
  8. We are in the same situation as Maschmeier but our still is a bit smaller, ~200 gallons. We've been told that we need a boiler rated at between 400k and 600k BTU and have gotten price quotes from $8k to $38k. The $8k was for a bare-bones Weil Mclain EGH125 and the $38K was for a Pearless 64-12. We're having a heck of a time trying to figure out what route to go. Can others that are using a low-pressure NG (or Propane) boiler please share what boilers they have and about how much it cost for the equipment and how much it was for the installation? If you would prefer to have an off-line discussion, please contact me at Gordon "at" DryDiggings.com Thanks!!
  9. Hello We are in the process of setting up our distillery and I was wondering if anyone might be willing to share their accounting systems chart of accounts (COA) with me? I have the ability to create the COA using some "models" supplied in the accounting system, but nothing comes close to what I think we might need. If anyone has this and would be willing to share it, it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Gordon Dry Diggings Distillery
  10. Were you able to come up with any resources? We are in the same situation and have received a couple quotes, but I would feel better if we had at least a couple more. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Looking for a NG low-pressure steam bowler, 500-700K BTU) Thanks!!
