  1. Plate and Frame or Shotgun tube and cartridges, what works best in your distillery? I have seen pros and cons for both but would like to hear some testimonials from actual users.

  2. Someone once told me it was $1 per gallon for the work, if you supply the grain. My guess though is that the brewery will be buying a lot more grain than you so his price might be lower than yours especially if they are already buying what you want like a 2 row. You should have them quote it for you both ways.

  3. Kudos to you for doing it in a craft way. Growing our yeast is a way to make your place more craft if you will. It is not hard to do, expands our possibilities and keeps costs down. I have a design for a yeast prop tank if anybody is interested.

    What is the cost of your yeast making class? I would think that this would be extremely popular in order to create a signature taste profile, and maybe a few of us could get together somewhere to make this cost efficient.
