Outside Sales Rep - Huntington Bch, CA

Surf City Still Works, a Huntington Beach craft distillery of premium spirits, is looking for a competitive Field Salesperson to expand our distribution footprint and facilitate sales growth. We are a local spirits producer in the growing craft spirits industry.  A successful salesperson in this role will foster new and old relationships alike, grow the brand's local footprint and close sales to achieve quarterly goals. The successful salesperson will play a key role in working within the local community to foster the brand's growth and recognition in the local market.  Pay structure is a base salary plus commission and incentives.

Responsibilities

·         “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations etc)

·         Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness

·         Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships

·         Meet personal and team sales targets

·         Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads

·         Attend and host off-site sales events

·         Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data

·         Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

 

Requirements and skills

·         Proven sales experience: one (1) year of alcohol sales or multiple years of  selling other products

·         Track record of over-achieving quota

·         Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management

·         Computer use competency

·         Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

·         Self motivated and driven

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Valid driver’s license, insurance and a good driving record
