Yellowstone Posted April 27 Share Posted April 27 Surf City Still Works is growing and looking to add to its production team with a Distillery Production Assistant. This role will report directly to the Head Distiller and is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn about what makes a distillery tick. Experience in the industry is helpful but not required. We are looking for a motivated and naturally curious individual to help with all aspects of tasks around the distillery. This includes the fun and not so fun ones, such as, but not limited to: Cleaning tanks Bottling Spirits Canning Beverages Cleaning Packaging Lines Monitoring Fermentation Mashing / Cooking / Brewing Distilling Spirit Proofing & Blending Cleaning Stills Product Development Someone who would succeed in this position will be able to keep a positive attitude and level head with a strong thirst for knowledge. As part of a small team, everyone here gets their hands dirty and the production assistant will be no different. Responsibilities: Help in all aspects of production Run cleaning on tanks following established procedures Proof samples for blending Maintain a clean work environment Assist on the bottling and canning line Assist in the brewing process Assist in the distillation process Safely operate a forklift for loading and unloading as needed Help with general maintenance, including scheduled machine upkeep Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a safe work environment Minimum Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a current driver’s license High School Diploma; Science or Mechanical knowledge a plus Computer literate, able to learn our production tracking software Strong Math, Critical Thinking and Reasoning Skills Ability to lift 50 + lbs throughout the workday (grain bags) Able to stand, walk around and work on your feet for the majority of the work day Able to climb up and down ladders Able to work in a noisy environment Job Type: Full-time 8 hour shift PLEASE SUBMIT RESUME TO JOBS@SURFCITYSTILLWORKS.COM Edit job Open View public job page Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
