Distiller Position - Big Expansion

Silver Star Spirits in Fort Worth is looking to hire a Distiller to join the team. The distillery is going through a large expansion with a great ownership team.

Qualifications

-at least 2 years of production distilling or brewing

-understanding of mashing, fermentation, distillation, CIP 

-trained on operating a forklift

-possess problem solving and trouble shooting skills

-strong communication 

-work well with a small team and by yourself

-can multitask

-valid driver's license and dependable vehicle

-ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly

-work in hot/humid warehouse environment

-

 

Responsibilities

-mashing, fermentation, distillation, proofing, batching

-assist in grain deliveries

-assist in barrel deliveries, barrel filling, barrel transportation

-basic computer skills

-basic cleaning of the distillery area 

-ability to stand for extended periods of time

-clean distillery equipment 

-be able to take on several roles

 

Compensation

-DOE. $55k - $70k

-medical, vision, dental

-401k
