Has anyone been to, or have pictures of, botanical storage rooms that the big guys use, like the Bombays of the world?  I understand that everything should be in a conditioned space and in air-tight containers, but I'm looking for a scalable solution.  Sometimes friends have the most interesting and creative ideas! 😉

I have not seen any of their storage options, and we haven't opened yet, however I have always had good results using the "vittles vault containers" for my homebrew grains and other ingredients that I wanted to protect from moisture/light etc.

Cheers, Chris

I lived in India for 8 months - wasn't there for Gin though. Got to visit Paul-John and Amrut. Amazing.

Climate controlled conditions are only used by larger companies that can be convinced of the economic value. That is to say climate control is pretty rare. The grid is not stable, and many nicer places have back-up generators. You avoid issues by using fresh supplies as often as possible. The country is 50% farmers, so many agriculture products are available fresh and quick - you just have to know someone, lol. Fortunately everyone in India knows each other somehow.

Cool-Bot temp controller onto a Big-Box AC unit or mini-split is the cheap way. Walk-in cooler, spray foamed shipping container, towable enclosed trailer, all work well on a modest budget. Depends on the size and scale you are looking for beyond that.
