Festif
We use 20x20cm Seitz filter sheets for our filtration machine (OMAC/Marchisio 20 plate). We currently source the filter sheets as is (20x20cm), and they're obviously quite pricy unless you buy large quantities, which will hopefully be the case for us down the line, but for our initial runs, we're hoping to keep extra costs and excess inventory down. I've noticed I could buy 40x40cm sheets for a similar price through a similar supplier. This would yield 4x the amount of filter pads for the same cost, which would be great. Has anyone ever cut these larger 40x40cm filter pads on their own into 4 quarter sheets of 20x20cm (or for whichever size you've needed)? Do you have an advised method to maintain clean edges? Am I overthinking this and scissors/a box cutter would be sufficient? Thanks!
