tank load cells?

Recommended Posts

One of our staple products is gaining popularity and we are looking at scaling up production. Currently using an NTEP floor scale and man handling a 100 gallon tank onto the scale where the recipe is built via ingredient weight. Looking at picking up a larger tank and adding some load cells to prevent this tank man handling. Who has done similar and has a method of attaching the load cells to tank bottom or legs? Looking at something like this... https://selletonscales.com/products/sl-720-414b-weighing-kit-multi-purpose-floor-scale-ntep-legal-for-trade?variant=44483605954861

Have you considered getting a larger NTEP rated scale? The load cells work great for larger tanks dedicated for proofing, but if you have multiple dedicated tanks it can be costly to put load cells on everything.
I typically set clients up with a very flexible system so they can utilize multiple tanks without having to dedicate one as a "proofing tank".
