Panoscape Posted October 10, 2012 Share Posted October 10, 2012 The distilling area of our space is about 1500, so close to yours and has a gas heating system on the interior of the ceiling. Our fire protection engineering report did not mention any needed changes to the gas heating system. I'd consult a fire protection engineer and see if it needs to be adressed with your city codes. Ours met city, state and fed codes. We need to have explosion proof items if they are within ten feet of any flammable liquid. The gas heat source is way out of range of that requirement.
