Plumbing Trap

Recommended Posts

Grain is clogging the sewage system in the building we lease.

We pump out all of our stillage and that goes to farmers.

But when we clean the stiill and fermenters some grain gets washed down the drain and is creating quite a problem. I want to put some sort of screen/trap between our floor drain and our main sewage line. I am thinking that something between 5 and 10 gallons of material would be the right size.

Please point me in the right direction.

Thank you,

Brad, come on over and check out our glass inhibitor. It does a good job of catching particulates and would be easy to add a fine screen too. Give a holler first, to make sure we're here. The inhibitor was about $350, permits about $150 and contracted plumber was about $250 or so. We busted out the concrete ourselves.
