Palmetto Coast
What speeds are you looking at as optimal for your mash agitator? We received agitators that only spun at 40rpm (WAY too slow). We are looking to purchase one or two new motors now. Thanks, Todd
Swede
If they were three phase motors on the agitators it may be possible to increase the speed by utilizing a VFD and running them >60Hz. Depending on how much more speed you need this might be more cost effective than replacing the motors.
Palmetto Coast
Thanks Swede, We are looking at switching the gearbox or having the coil redone. A VFD would have allowed us to slow it down. It was geared crappy to begin with. Todd
