Call Family Distillers

Hello everyone. I wanted to stop on in and introduce myself. I am founder of Call Family Distillers located in Wilkes County, North Carolina. My uncle and I started the distillery as means to preserve and produce the classic "Real Deal" moonshine whiskey, the way that our family has done it for over 7 generations. Our family heritage of shiners goes back to D.H. Call, the man who taught Jasper Newton "Jack Daniel" how to make whiskey.

Currently, my team and I are in permit/building phases of our distillery as we move into our facility and get prepared for equipment. I plan to open a forum topic to chart progress of our distillery and I am sure I will have TONS of questions as I go through the start-up process.

As I mentioned, I am very excited to be a part of the craft distillers movement during such and exciting time and I hope to learn and grow in this industry along with the rest of you. I also hope to meet a lot of you along the way at industry events etc.
