Just happen to be helping someone looking for a buyer. 12,000 gallons per 24 hours capacity column still, miles of copper pipes and tanks. Motivated Seller. This is the original distillery located about 30 miles north of Philadelphia. Comes with about 20 acres of land.Owner is asking $1,000,000 or best offer. cowdery Posted November 19, 2009 Share Posted November 19, 2009 There is almost nothing usable left at Michter's. It's some decaying buildings and rusting tanks. Anything of value was stripped out a decade ago. It's also doubtful if a buyer of the property would even be able to use the name, since Chatham Imports now uses it to market whiskey that was made nowhere near Pennsylvania. I know it seems like raining on parades is my favorite pastime, but the initial post in this thread, and the associated link, are very misleading.
