TheBottleGuys Introduction

Recommended Posts

Hello All

Just a simple and quick introduction of ourselves. We will be attending several expo's and events in the near future for in-person meetings and intoductions.

We are an importer/wholesaler of several products in various different fields of manufacturing. We were recently approached by one of your fellow "CRAFT" distillers for our ability to source and import products. In short, we recieved a bottle sample from him, had a sample produced and will manage to save him about $2.00 per bottle on his order of 6000 units/bottles.

Here is a question/needed information, Are there more interested individuals like this distiller who would like us to order and stock bottles for them? We would like to order and stock approx. 6-8 styles of glass, in both 750ml and 375ml. Once we have some style choices that can accomodate several folks, we can have stock with simply 1 pallet minimuns. We understand most business people do not warehouse, thats why we do!

I will post more infomation in the correct areas of the site as needed.

If you have questions, if you need a reference from the craft distillers we are helping now, I can give you that info. I hope this can be a win/win for all of us. If you have a sample of the current bottle you are using and want us to bid it, let me know. Thanks, Jeff

Well, not an attack, but I think many of us are interested in more facts on that comment "manage to save him about $2.00 per bottle on his order of 6000 units/bottles" before giving it much attention. I do think we would all like to save 2.00 USD on our glass units.

Jeff, will you have a vendor table at the ADI conference this year?

Bob,

We are going to make a full effort to attend multiple shows/expo's/events this year. Our specialty is import/wholesale. I knew there would be many questions and questions of who we are. We have been importing and wholesaling products for 10 years. I was asked about and informed by one of your fellow distillers if we could possibly fill a gap with distillers and large bottle companies to lower costs and lower minumim orders. I did my reasearch, got some samples, supplied them to this distillery and now I am sure we can help. I will be in the office Monday around 9:00am CST. Questions, comments, or simple inquries. Email me privately I will give you my direct number. We will have a banner and advertising on this site in the very near future. I do not want to overstep the bounds of a newbie introduction. We are a real company with real assests and we regularly import. I really believe I can help.

I really wanted to wait to intro myself and our company, but I was really pushed by one of your fellow distillers that this bottle/glass thing was a problem(now).

Thanks,

Jeff

A few years ago, I ordered a couple of cases of these and fell in love with them. Then, I lost the guys number and he was kind of a distributor like you. I've never found them again.

The bottle is 750 ml, but it looks like a Roman wine jar - terra cotta color, two little ring things on the sides, and in fact LOOKS like a ceramic car. But it's really glass and of course the inside was glass. Used it for some Meade. I still have a few laying around. But I can't find them, and in fact I don't even know what to call them or describe them. They're Terra cotta colored, look like ceramic, two little handles at the top, but glass inside.

Can you find something like that?
