  1. Are you willing to send a few samples of each?
  2. GW Kent is a great supply company. But where to get the glass tubes?
  3. We're going to be there. Wondering if any other distilleries here are going?
  4. I did that the first time. I did it just now and the same Flash animation. Hit the "English" button again and the Flash animation starts over. *edit* I just tried it on another browser. It works in Firefox, but not with IE8 on my computer. I am interested in some of your bartop corks.
  5. Unfortunately, going to "tapiusa" brings you to the International Tapi site, which does not let you see anything but some Flash animation.
  6. I got an actual letter from Skorupski in the USPS mail. Exact same lingo the rest of y'all have seen. We passed on sending him a shirt.
  7. Yes, we use the filter attachment. We are very happy with how it works.
  8. We use the Enolmaster from St. Pats. Very good unit, and you can adjust the fill level for different size and shape bottles. You have to monitor your fill levels and kind of get a "feel" as it fills. With an adaptor, it can fill 50ml bottles.

Has anyone heard more about the S.O.T. (Special Occupational Tax, or some version of it) coming back?
  10. Just to share with the fine folks here. In today's Seattle Times business section, there is an article discussing the growth of distilleries here in my home state of Washington. The article prominently mentions our distillery, includes some photos of us, and a video of one of Seattle's top cocktail bars louching up a glass of Pacifique. Here is the link: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/busi...alliquor10.html
  11. Isn't that what the folks at Hangar One do for their vodka?
  12. We also are interested. Pacific Distillery, Woodinville, WA.
  13. I have a 500 liter alembic from Iberian Coppers. Very happy with it, the folks, and service. Highly recommended.
  14. I completely agree with what you said above. Hopefully the WDG will be able to approach the legislature in 2010 for the adoption of a "micro-distillery" law that encompasses what you state above.
  15. Please don't publicly post pricing. I agree with the Phoenix. If you want to know, call them up, they'll be more than happy to speak with you.
  16. Because it is to restrictive. Washington would have been better off mirroring the Oregon law that treats all distilleries the same. A less restrictive distillery law would be good for jobs, the economy, and small artisanal distillers such as myself who create a craft product, but don't want to follow DF's business plan. Who cares of Jim Beam/Jack Daniel's et al want to come to Washington and open a distillery? Having the field open to all would be good for jobs, the economy, and putting Washington State in the same leadership position Oregon now enjoys.
  17. Thanks, CK, that's exactly what I was looking for. We just got absinthe label approval today, and I'm talking to Taylor-Made tomorrow. Got 200 liters "resting" and going to distill another 200 liters this weekend.
  18. Anyone have any experience using FedEx as a regular freight shipper to their distributors? One case or a pallet?
  19. Don and Kent from Dry Fly in Spokane may have something for you.
  20. Not exactly. The $100 license is only if all your distilled products are made from at least 51% Washington State grown products, otherwise it's $2000 for a general distiller's license.
  21. Thanks. That's the kind of info I'm looking for. I know who my formula specialist is already. Why are they so slow? I had an independent lab analyse my sample in 5 days.
