Anyone have any idea what one like the one in the link would go for?
Can you recommend another brand if this one is crap?

We use the Saver Kendo, and although it looks very similar I don't think it is a Kendo, But its really hard to tell from the photos on the Dash website. The Kendo has a massive solid base, on the 500ml its nearly 15mm thick. There are a number of Italian glass manufacturers that produce bottles similar to the Kendo.
SaverGlass's mark is a Double Capital Letter S, like a chain link, inside a rectangular border.
Go with the Saver Kendo, I have found them to be a brilliant company to deal with, and never fail to deliver.
Thanks for the info Richard.
Could you recommend a contact at Saver? Will they do smaller orders(1000-2000)bottles? Would you be able to say what they are charging you?
The kendo is very similar to the bottle we are currently using so if I can get a better deal I will go with it.

Looks like the Saver Kendo to me.
Hrmm that might be it, thank ya. Anyone know what their makers mark looks like? This bottle is very similar to the one we are using.

Has anyone seen this bottle before and or know who makes it?

I always end up getting the question "how big will the distillery be" when talking to folks and so I wanted to put it out there - How many square feet are you in? I'm just curious if what we are thinking will work for us will.
Thanks,
Roy
I always just say its "pretty dang big" lol......

The ease of carry is what has me intrigued and its something that the liquor store employees brought up as being a positive.I think that in the UK/Europe we mainly have 6 bottles (70cl) in a case these days. They are easy to carry too!
What would your rather drag out from the back on a regular basis the light box or the heavy box lol.
-
Some small distributors require 6 packs.
Could be the reason but Im not positive. Im wondering if they did this for some other sales related reason. This was at a large liquor store(Specs) who has many locations all over Texas. It was the only vodka I saw being sold with 6 750 ml bottles to a case, all others had 12.
I kind of liked the 6 pack idea so Im wondering if its something we should do. I can see people grabbing a case of that vs the big 12 or a couple of the bigger bottles. Also easier to have stacked at the front of the store or in a similar type of display.
-
So what are the pros and cons of this? I found it kind of interesting. Im in the process of making our cases and am now wondering if we should go this route. Ivanabitch is doing rather well so it doesnt hurt to study them a bit.

Thank you RIchard,
Best,
Ry

Cool and thank you. For our first bottle we just went with gs1. Just wanted to make sure I made the right call.
For those who are running codes on their shipping packages, Im assuming they are different then the code on your bottle correct(IE the code on our 750ML wont be the same as the container we use to ship our 750s correct)? I know the thread linked explains it but the wording was a bit different and I just want to confirm.
Were having our boxes done up so thats the next thing to get a code on it.

Whos a good supplier of Custom Shrink Capsules in the USA? In Texas or as close to Texas as possible is preffered.
-
Does anyone know if there is somewhere to get that info from? Preferably for free.....Specifically Im trying to get case sales numbers by company for vodka in the States and Globally.
Thanks,
Ryan Sovelius

Closer to Texas the better.
A one stop shop where we can get our bottles and printing done would be nice if such a thing exists? We are talking with Fusion right now.
First run we would like to be between 1000-2000 bottles.
Still is up and running and we just got our label design completed by our designer. Need some finished bottles.
Thank you for your help,
Ryan S.

Hey J,
That could def work too. Were not opposed to either steam or any other source of heat. Just was wondering if anyone here could recommend one that doesnt cost too much yet is still quality .
